Key Domains & Areas of Practice

Low’s practice spans two complementary domains. As an ACTA-certified adult educator and adjunct lecturer, he delivers WSQ-aligned training and mentoring in sustainability, workplace safety and health (WSH), environmental management, Lean implementation, and risk assessment. His facilitation style focuses on practical, actionable application for working professionals and organisations. In industry, he has led EHS and sustainability functions across high-risk sectors. His scope covers regulatory compliance, risk management and control, facility operations, sustainability reporting, GHG verification, and green initiatives such as renewable energy adoption and waste reduction. His recent pursuit of advanced sustainability qualifications, including ISO 14064 GHG verification and ISCA Sustainability Assurance certification, deepens his ability to support organisations in ESG compliance and operational transformation.

Professional Experience

Low brings over 25 years of combined experience in EHS management, sustainability, and adult training. He currently serves as Adjunct Lecturer in Sustainability at a local polytechnic and as Principal EHS Consultant at a specialist consultancy, where he leads teams in delivering training, risk assessments, and WSH audits for clients across marine, construction, metalworking, and process industries. Concurrently, he manages EHS and facilities at a multinational aerospace company, where he has driven major sustainability and Lean projects, including a large-scale solar installation that delivered substantial annual energy cost savings and a multi-year zero-incident safety record. His earlier roles include EHS leadership positions at an aviation MRO joint venture and an oilfield services company, as well as EHS specialist roles in electronics manufacturing, giving him deep cross-sector exposure to operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and organisational change.
